About Me
I am a permanent makeup artist located at my home salon in Benfleet, Essex. I offer a variety of permanent makeup treatments including all brow techniques, lip blush and lash enhancement.
Being in the beauty industry for over 15 years, I initially started as a bridal makeup artist before venturing into Permanent Makeup. I found that I was naturally artistic from a young age and studied Art and Design at GCSE and A level Fine Art. Becoming a makeup artist allowed me to use my creative and artistic flare. I am very friendly, patient, and have a keen eye for detail and always strive to get the very best for my clients.
I started my permanent makeup career in 2018 originally focusing solely on eyebrows, training with the world renown K.B Pro company. The training I received was very extensive and took almost a year to complete, which ensured that all students were at a high standard before starting out on their own.
Since then I have gone on to complete numerous masterclasses and online webinars in the various eyebrow techniques to perfect my skill set and advance my knowledge. I have also done further training to add lip blush and lash enhancements to her list of treatments. Only the best quality products from pigments, machines and needles are used to achieve the best possible results for you.
My Services
Hairstroke Brows
Using a digital machine and needle, hair like strokes are created throughout the brow to replicate the look of natural hairs giving the illusion of a thicker fuller brow.
Perfect for:
Clients who don’t normally
wear makeup on their brows, or wear very minimal, and just want to enhance their brow
shape and thickness in a natural looking way.
Not suitable for all skin types
Powder Brows
This technique involves softly shading throughout the brow creating tiny pixels to achieve a fuller more defined looking brow. This heals to a permanent tint effect and can still look really natural if that is your preference.
Perfect for:
Clients who are used to having makeup on their brows and want a soft
makeup look/permanent tint effect.
Suitable for all skin types
Ombre Brows
Ombre brows are the same as powder brows however the key difference between the two is that for an ombre, the bulbs (front of the brows) are lighter and softer than the rest of the brow, whereas the powder brow remains consistent throughout the whole brow with fuller looking fronts.
Perfect for:
Those who have a lot of natural brow hair and want the front
of their brows softer than the rest of the brow.
Suitable for all skin types
Combination Brows
This technique is a combination of hair strokes and shading.
Perfect for:
Those who want the natural look of the hairs but want more definition and
fullness to the shape.
Not suitable for all skin types
Lip Blush
Lip blushing involves shading the lips to create a tint of colour of the clients choice. This
treatment is perfect for anyone who has lost the natural boarder of their lips and for giving
the appearance of fuller lips without having to use fillers. A simple blush of lip colour that
doesn't keep rubbing off.
Lash Enhancement
A lash line enhancement subtly adds definition and colour to your lash line to create the
appearance of thicker lashes. Permanent eyeliner can vary from a medium line along the
lash line to enhance and widen your eyes and give a more awake appearance, to a bolder,
thicker line to make your eyes really pop.
Consultation
I offer consultations separate to the treatment day if you wish to discuss further before committing to an appointment. I will then give you more information regarding the treatment, different techniques, colour choices etc. It also allows you time to ask any questions or raise any concerns you may have. Within the consultation, I can also complete the patch test for you, or give you the kit for you to do in your own time. You are under no obligation to go ahead, and the main purpose of the consultation is to give you the information for you to decide if you want to go ahead or not.
Consultations can also be done on the same day of the treatment if you decide you just want to go straight ahead without a separate consultation. If this option is chosen, a patch test will be sent out to you.
What to expect on the day of the treatment?
On the day of the treatment, we will start by discussing your expectations and the results you are after. It is also worth you showing me any pictures of work you like of mine to give me an idea of what you would like.
Everyone has different tastes so I really listen to what it is you want and like and then let you know what I think would work for you and your skin/face etc. We will then have a look at colours and match the right colour for you and your skin.
If you are happy to have pictures taken and used for social media and advertisement purposes, we will instead take before pictures. We will then spend as long as it takes on the pre draw, which involves me mapping your brows to get the right shape and thickness for you. Only when we are both 110% happy do we start the treatment.
Once the treatment is complete I will take after pictures (if you have consented) and then talk you though the aftercare and give you everything you need for the healing process. We then arrange and book in your top up appointment for 4-8 weeks later.
